Kindergarten Through 4th
Grade Kindergarten through 4th grade enjoyed an educational presentation titled "Creatures of the Night" at Swan Lake Refuge. The students learned all about nocturnal animals and how they use their five senses. The students got to explore a haunted nocturnal habitat and then visited Maxine the Goose and the Locust Creek Covered Bridge. |

Swan
Lake Wetlands Tour The 5th and 6th graders had so much fun at Swan Lake! We learned many things: what animal groups are, the three most important resources for wildlife, and how to protect their habitat. Then we went out to the wetland and caught insects and amphibians. We also learned how the conservation agent drains the lake. |
