Thank you to all who helped with the success of the Dinner Auction held April 12, 2008. The Dinner Auction made approximately $59,000 which goes to the general operating expenses of the school. There were many people who helped with making Saturday night a success. I want to thank Amy Hess and Ronnie Clark who have helped for the last five years in establishing the Dinner Auction and making it what it has become. I also want to thank others who were in charge of different committees who included Sheila Ealey, Chris Fleming, Diane Bonderer, Susan Keller and Amparo Anthony, and the many others who helped each one of these groups.
Even though this year’s event is over, it is not too early to start thinking about next year’s Dinner Auction. If you see something which would make a fine donation for next year’s auction pick it up for next year.
Preparations for 2008 Dinner Auction…
Hey! Guess who’s turning 50? I can hear you bidding on who it is, but the bidding will actually take place at the Bishop Hogan Dinner Auction on April 12, 2008! This year’s event will be quite a party – a birthday party – since BHS is celebrating our school’s 50th anniversary. The dinner auction’s theme is “Guess Who’s Turning 50?” and it will be a real golden celebration with a silent auction, dinner, and live auction. So mark your calendars. This is an event you won’t want to miss. I know I won’t! Sheila Ealey, is our table ready?
